Resetting to Default Settings

If LightBurn’s settings are not behaving correctly, sometimes the solution is to reset it to it’s default settings.

This article will explain how to do this.

Important: Performing this will require you to re-create your Emblaser device or import the Emblaser Pro bundle again.

Follow these steps to completely reset LightBurn’s settings:

1. Open LightBurn.
2. Go toFile→ Open Prefs Folder.
3. Close LightBurn.
4. Delete the contents of the prefs folder, which should contain a pair of files called prefs.ini and prefs.old.
5. Re-open LightBurn. All settings should be reset to default, and all devices will be removed.

That’s it. When you re-run you’ll be asked to set up your laser again, and everything will be as new.
