Problem:
I am not able to cut as well as others have reported being able to. I use the exact setting as others have recommended, but I cannot get the same performance from my laser.
Cause:
The usual cause for this is not having a correctly focused laser.
The best results are achieves by having the laser beam focused to the smallest point possible. This ensures all the power is being concentrated in a small region, allow for cleaner and deeper cuts.
Solution:
Recheck the laser focus by following the process outlined in the latest Emblaser User Manual.
As a guide, a correctly focused 3 Watt Laser Unit will be able to cut through a sheet of plain white photo-copy paper at 100% power and 1800mm/min feed-rate.
